Terms of Service

Version 1.0 — effective 5 September 2026. These Terms are under continuing legal review; material changes will be notified per Section 23.

1. About these Terms

1.1 These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the Presentaz operating company identified in Section 24.6 ("Presentaz", "we", "us"), concerning your access to presentaz.com and related applications, products and services (the "Service").

1.2 By creating an account, purchasing credits, confirming a Job or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the applicable Regional Addendum below, the Service and Billing Schedule, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Copyright and Rights-Holder Policy and the Privacy Policy, each incorporated by reference.

1.3 If you use the Service for an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" includes the organisation.

1.4 Mandatory rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, withdrawal right, privacy right or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a Regional Addendum conflicts with these global Terms, the Regional Addendum controls for users in that region.

2. Definitions

"Account" — your registered Presentaz account and associated credit wallet. "Approval" — your affirmative instruction to accept a complete Review Copy, deduct the quoted credits and unlock the Delivered File. "Credits" — internal units used to pay for eligible Presentaz services; not legal tender, subject to Section 6. "Delivered File" — the clean downloadable output made available after Approval, without the visible Presentaz review watermark but potentially retaining legally or technically required provenance markers. "Job" — a confirmed request to process User Content into an Output under a displayed quote and specification. "Output" — AI-assisted video, presentation, audio or other material generated through the Service. "Purchased Credits" — Credits acquired for payment, excluding Promotional Credits. "Promotional Credits" — welcome, trial, referral or other Credits granted without separate payment. "Review Copy" — the complete watermarked streaming version supplied for evaluation before Approval. "Technical Defect" — a reproducible platform fault causing a Delivered File to be corrupt, unplayable, materially incomplete, missing required audio, materially different from the approved Review Copy or non-conforming with the confirmed technical specification. "User Content" — content, files, instructions, branding, data and other material you submit to the Service.

3. Eligibility and accounts

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. Presentaz is not directed to children.

3.2 You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity performed through your Account unless caused by Presentaz's breach of an applicable legal duty.

3.3 You may not create accounts by automated means, maintain duplicate accounts to obtain repeated promotions, share credentials outside an authorised team or transfer an Account without our written consent.

4. The Service

4.1 Presentaz provides automated, AI-assisted production of videos, presentations, audio and related outputs from User Content. Available features, supported formats, limits and consumption rates are described in the Service and on the pricing page.

4.2 AI systems are probabilistic. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, unexpected material, pronunciation issues, visual mismatches or other inaccuracies. The Review Copy and Approval process exists so you can identify such issues before a Job is charged.

4.3 The Service is a production tool, not professional legal, medical, financial, engineering, safety or regulatory advice. You remain responsible for any professional review, factual verification, permissions and disclosures required for your intended use.

4.4 The confirmed Job screen, including the quoted Credits and output specification, forms part of your contract for that Job.

5. Job confirmation, review and Approval

5.1 Before a paid Job begins, Presentaz displays the scope, output specification and exact price in Credits. You must affirmatively confirm that quote.

5.2 When you confirm a Job, the quoted Credits are reserved as a hold. A hold prevents those Credits being used elsewhere but is not a deduction.

5.3 Presentaz supplies a complete watermarked Review Copy before settlement. The Review Copy is licensed solely for evaluation and may not be captured, distributed, published or commercially used unless and until the Job is approved and paid.

5.4 No generation Credits are deducted until you approve the complete Review Copy or, where an auto-delivery option is enabled and disclosed for the Job, until you first download the Delivered File. Approval (or that first download) deducts the quoted Credits and makes the Delivered File available.

5.5 The Approval control displays the number of Credits to be deducted. By approving, you confirm that you reviewed the Review Copy, authorise the deduction and accept responsibility for verifying content accuracy and suitability. Approval is final except for Technical Defects and rights available under applicable law.

5.6 If a Job fails, you reject the Review Copy before Approval, or the disclosed review period expires without Approval, the hold is released automatically. A rejected Review Copy must not be used.

5.7 Available correction, regeneration or revision options, including whether an option requires a new quote, are disclosed in the Service. Presentaz does not promise unlimited revisions.

5.8 For book projects, quoting, holds, review and settlement occur per chapter unless the confirmed Job states otherwise.

5.9 Download Delivered Files promptly. Failure to download after Approval does not reverse the deduction where the file was made available as promised, subject to Technical Defects and mandatory consumer rights.

6. Credits and the wallet

6.1 The Service uses one credit wallet across eligible Presentaz products. Consumption rates may differ by product and are published on the pricing page or Job screen.

6.2 Purchased Credits do not expire merely because time passes while the wallet service operates and your Account remains available. Promotional Credits may carry an expiry or eligibility condition disclosed when granted.

6.3 Credits are personal to the Account, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash except under Section 8 or applicable law. Your wallet is a single balance; the ledger records every purchase, grant, hold, settlement, release and refund.

6.4 Promotional Credits have no cash value, are not refundable or exchangeable and may be limited to one welcome grant per person, Account or verified email. Deleting and recreating an Account does not restore eligibility.

6.5 If Presentaz permanently discontinues the credit wallet, it will provide reasonable advance notice and address unused Purchased Credits in accordance with applicable law.

7. Plans and subscriptions

7.1 Presentaz currently sells prepaid credit bundles and Book Pass projects; no automatically renewing subscription is currently offered. The provisions of this Section apply if and when subscription plans launch.

7.2 For any automatically renewing subscription, Presentaz will clearly disclose the price, billing frequency, renewal terms and cancellation method before obtaining your consent, provide a simple online cancellation method, and give legally required renewal reminders and price-change notices. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and never causes Purchased Credits to expire.

8. Payments, refunds and remedies

8.1 Prices, supported currencies, applicable taxes and payment methods are displayed before purchase. Payment is processed by our merchant of record; you authorise it to charge the selected payment method.

8.2 Voluntary credit-purchase refund: you may request a refund within 14 days after purchasing Credits. If none of the Purchased Credits have been used, we will refund that purchase; if part has been used, we will refund the unused purchased portion where the wallet ledger can reliably attribute the remaining balance, subject to fraud prevention and applicable law.

8.3 Refunds are returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible. Promotional Credits and Credits already deducted for approved Jobs are not included in a voluntary refund.

8.4 For a Technical Defect, contact support with sufficient information to reproduce the problem. Presentaz may first repair, replace or regenerate the Delivered File; if the defect cannot be corrected within a reasonable time, Presentaz will restore the deducted Credits or provide another remedy required by law.

8.5 The voluntary policies in this Section are additional to mandatory rights and do not restrict remedies for non-supply, lack of conformity, misleading description or other non-excludable rights.

8.6 Do not initiate an unjustified chargeback; contact us first where practicable.

9. AI output and user review

9.1 You are responsible for reviewing names, figures, quotations, translations, pronunciations, captions, citations, images, timing, factual statements and suitability before Approval and publication.

9.2 Approval allocates responsibility for visible or audible content that a reasonable review should have identified. It does not excuse a latent Technical Defect, a Delivered File that differs materially from the Review Copy, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9.3 You must make any disclosure required when publishing AI-generated or manipulated content, including disclosures relating to synthetic media, deepfakes, endorsements or professional use.

9.4 Presentaz may include machine-readable provenance or AI-generation markers where required by law, provider policy or accepted technical standards. Removal of the visible review watermark does not promise removal of those markers.

10. User Content

10.1 You retain ownership of User Content. You grant Presentaz a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, reproduce, analyse, format, translate, create derivative material from and otherwise process User Content solely to operate, secure, support and improve the requested Service, including through contracted hosting, AI, text-to-speech and payment providers.

10.2 The licence includes displaying User Content in a Review Copy and sublicensing processing rights to service providers only to the extent needed to perform the Service. It ends when the relevant content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, security, dispute and legal-retention periods.

10.3 Presentaz does not use User Content to train a general-purpose AI model, and does not permit a service provider to do so for its independent purposes, unless you expressly opt in.

10.4 You represent that you own or have all rights, permissions, notices and lawful bases necessary for Presentaz to process User Content and for you to use the resulting Output — including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, voice, likeness, confidentiality and personal-data rights.

10.5 Do not upload highly regulated, export-controlled or sensitive personal information unless the Service expressly supports that use and an appropriate written agreement is in place.

11. Output rights and third-party material

11.1 As between you and Presentaz, Presentaz does not claim ownership of your user-specific Output. Upon settlement of a paid Job, or delivery of an authorised free Output, Presentaz assigns to you any right, title and interest it may hold in that user-specific Output.

11.2 The assignment does not include User Content owned by another person, or Presentaz technology, prompts, workflows, software, templates, themes, interface elements, voice systems or general know-how.

11.3 An Output may include third-party fonts, voices, music, stock media or open-source material; your use of those elements remains subject to the applicable licences.

11.4 Presentaz does not guarantee that an Output is unique, eligible for copyright, registrable, non-infringing in every market or exclusive to you. Similar inputs may produce similar results.

11.5 You may use an approved and paid Output commercially unless a disclosed third-party licence, law or product restriction says otherwise. You may not extract, resell or distribute Presentaz templates, voices, themes or system components as standalone assets.

12. Confidentiality, privacy and security

12.1 Presentaz treats non-public User Content as confidential and uses reasonable care to limit access to personnel and providers who need it to deliver, secure or support the Service.

12.2 Our Privacy Policy explains the categories of personal data collected, purposes, recipients, international transfers, retention, security and your rights.

12.3 Business customers that require a data processing agreement may request one at the legal contact in Section 24.6.

12.4 No online service is completely secure. Presentaz maintains reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards and handles legally notifiable breaches as required by law.

13. Acceptable use

13.1 You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy below. Presentaz may use automated and human measures reasonably necessary to enforce it; enforcement is proportionate to apparent risk and may include refusing a Job, removing content, limiting features or suspending an Account. You may request review of an enforcement decision via support.

14. Storage, retention and deletion

14.1 Rendered files are retained as follows unless a Job states otherwise: free-account rendered files for 30 days from creation; paid-account rendered files while the paid plan is active plus 90 days after it lapses; Book Pass rendered files for 12 months.

14.2 Where supported, Presentaz sends expiry warnings approximately 14 days and 3 days before scheduled deletion. Warnings are a convenience and not guaranteed if contact information is invalid.

14.3 Project plans and specifications are retained while your Account and project remain active so an expired Output can be reproduced. You may request project or Account deletion, subject to backups, fraud prevention, disputes and legally required retention.

14.4 Reproduction of an expired Output may require a new Job at then-current rates, because models, providers, voices, pricing and technical capabilities change. Exact reproduction is not guaranteed.

14.5 You are responsible for downloading and backing up Delivered Files. Presentaz is not permanent archival storage.

15. Availability and changes

15.1 The Service is provided on an as-available basis. Presentaz does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability or a particular processing time unless a separate written service-level agreement states otherwise.

15.2 We use reasonable efforts to preserve confirmed project specifications and queued Jobs during an interruption and to resume processing when service is restored. If a Job cannot be resumed, we release its credit hold and provide any further remedy required by law.

15.3 We may perform maintenance, modify features, replace providers or discontinue parts of the Service, with reasonable notice before a material discontinuation where practicable, addressing affected paid commitments and Purchased Credits fairly.

15.4 Third-party models, voices and services may change or become unavailable. Presentaz may substitute a reasonably comparable component, request new approval, or cancel the affected Job and release its hold.

16. Suspension, termination and account closure

16.1 You may stop using the Service or request Account closure at any time. Before closure, download your files and request any refund for which you are eligible.

16.2 We may suspend or restrict an Account where reasonably necessary to investigate security risk, payment fraud, legal demands, rights complaints or suspected material breach — with notice and an opportunity to correct where appropriate.

16.3 We may terminate an Account for material or repeated breach, unlawful use, confirmed rights abuse, non-payment or conduct creating substantial risk.

16.4 If Presentaz terminates the Service or your Account without your breach, it will provide a reasonable export period and address unused Purchased Credits according to applicable law.

16.5 Provisions concerning payments, intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability and disputes survive termination.

17. Rights-holder complaints

17.1 Presentaz operates the notice, counter-notice and repeat-infringer process in the Copyright and Rights-Holder Policy below. Rights holders may contact the copyright address in Section 24.6.

18. Feedback

18.1 If you voluntarily provide product feedback, you grant Presentaz a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use it without identifying you or disclosing confidential User Content.

19. Warranties and disclaimers

19.1 Nothing in this Section limits mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, the Service is provided as available and Presentaz disclaims implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

19.2 Presentaz does not warrant that AI output will be accurate, unique, legally protectable, suitable for a particular professional purpose or accepted by any publisher, platform, regulator, employer, certification body or marketplace.

20. Indemnity

20.1 If you use the Service for business purposes, you will defend and indemnify Presentaz and its personnel against third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful User Content, breach of Section 10.4, prohibited use, or publication of an Output in violation of another person's rights. For consumers, this Section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Limitation of liability

21.1 Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

21.2 For business users, to the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss, or lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, and Presentaz's aggregate liability during any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of the amounts paid for the Service giving rise to the claim in that period and USD 100.

21.3 For consumers, any limitation applies only to the extent it is fair, transparent and permitted by mandatory law. Regional rights control.

22. Disputes and governing law

22.1 Before filing a claim, you and Presentaz will attempt in good faith to resolve it by written notice to the legal contact describing the dispute and requested resolution. This does not prevent urgent injunctive relief or use of a consumer authority or small-claims process.

22.2 Except where a Regional Addendum or mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the law of the operating company's jurisdiction stated in Section 24.6, with non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Consumers retain the benefit of mandatory protections in their own country, state or province.

23. Changes to these Terms

23.1 We may update these Terms prospectively, posting the revised version and giving reasonable advance notice of material changes. A material change will not retroactively alter the price of a confirmed Job, reduce Purchased Credits already held, or remove an accrued statutory right.

24. General

24.1 These Terms and incorporated documents are the entire agreement concerning the Service, except a signed enterprise agreement that expressly overrides them.

24.2 If a provision is unenforceable it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

24.3 You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. Presentaz may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or restructuring, subject to applicable law and notice.

24.4 Notices may be delivered electronically to the contact details associated with your Account.

24.6 Operator and contact: Presentaz is operated by the legal entity identified on our checkout and receipts. Support: support@presentaz.com · Legal notices: legal@presentaz.com · Copyright notices: copyright@presentaz.com.

United States Consumer Addendum

Applies when you reside in the United States and use the Service primarily for personal, family or household purposes. This Addendum supplements the global Terms and does not waive rights under applicable federal or state consumer-protection law. The 14-day unused-credit refund is a voluntary Presentaz policy, not a statement that US law provides a universal cooling-off period. The Copyright and Rights-Holder Policy is intended to support compliance with 17 U.S.C. §512. Where an applicable state privacy law covers Presentaz, the Privacy Policy explains rights such as access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out and non-discrimination. You must not create or publish an unauthorised digital replica, voice clone or depiction that violates copyright, privacy, publicity, deceptive-practices, election or intimate-image law. You may bring an eligible individual claim in a US small-claims court; these Terms contain no mandatory arbitration clause.

European Union / EEA Consumer Addendum

Applies when you reside in the EU or EEA and use the Service as a consumer. Nothing in the Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections under the law of your country of residence. For a distance contract you may have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to statutory exceptions; if you request immediate supply during the withdrawal period, Presentaz will obtain the express request, consent and acknowledgement required by law and confirm it on a durable medium. Where a service has begun at your express request but is not fully performed when you withdraw, you pay only the proportion permitted by law; where digital content is fully supplied after the legally required consent and acknowledgement, the withdrawal right may be lost — conformity rights remain unaffected. If content or a service is not supplied or lacks conformity, you may be entitled to correction, price reduction, or termination and reimbursement under the law implementing Directive (EU) 2019/770; Approval does not waive a remedy for a defect that was not reasonably apparent in the Review Copy. Where the GDPR applies, the Privacy Policy identifies the controller, legal bases, recipients, retention, transfer safeguards and your rights. Presentaz implements provider obligations applicable to it under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, including machine-readable marking of AI-generated outputs where required and technically feasible; you are responsible for deployer or publisher disclosures applicable to synthetic media, and you must not remove required AI labels or provenance data. To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to support@presentaz.com identifying your Account and purchase.

United Kingdom Consumer Addendum

Applies when you reside in the United Kingdom and use the Service as a consumer. Nothing in the Terms affects rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or other mandatory UK law. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a disclosed purpose and as described; remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. You may have a 14-day cancellation right for a distance contract; before supplying a download or stream during that period Presentaz will obtain any legally required express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgement concerning loss of cancellation rights, confirmed on a durable medium. Where the UK GDPR applies, the Privacy Policy identifies the controller, lawful bases, processors, transfers, retention and your rights. The governing-law clause does not deprive you of mandatory UK protections.

Service and Billing Schedule

The Service may accept books, documents, slide decks, structured text, images and other supported inputs displayed in the upload interface; file types, size limits and language support may change prospectively. The Job screen identifies the format, resolution, voice, language, estimated duration and other specifications before confirmation. Each Job quote identifies the total Credits to be held and deducted upon Approval; Presentaz will not increase the price of a confirmed Job without requesting new confirmation. During the disclosed review period you may approve, reject or select an available correction option; expiry without Approval releases the hold. A Review Copy contains visible watermarking and is not licensed for publication. Presentaz may limit repeated free regeneration where substantially similar material is resubmitted without a good-faith correction purpose. Retention follows Section 14. Support channels are shown in the Service; response times are targets, not guarantees, unless a separate service-level agreement applies.

Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use the Service for:

  • Content or conduct that violates law, court order, contract, or another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or data-protection rights.
  • Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, or any attempt to create, transform or sexualise imagery of a minor.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, coercive sexual content or content intended to facilitate abuse.
  • Fraud, phishing, scams, deceptive endorsements, false identity documents or materially deceptive impersonation.
  • Cloning, imitating or using a person's voice, likeness or identity without the rights and disclosures required by law.
  • Threats, targeted harassment, doxxing, hateful abuse or content primarily intended to incite violence against a protected person or group.
  • Malware, credential theft, security attacks or instructions whose primary purpose is to compromise systems or evade safeguards.
  • Uploading regulated, confidential or personal data without a lawful basis, required authority or appropriate contract.
  • Automated mass account creation, credit farming, resale of Promotional Credits, chargeback abuse or manipulation of the hold-and-settle workflow.
  • Scraping, reverse engineering, prompt or model extraction, bypassing watermarks or security controls, or attempting to obtain non-public system components.
  • Using a rejected Review Copy for publication, commercial exploitation or distribution.
  • Removing mandatory AI labels or provenance data, or publishing content without a legally required AI or synthetic-media disclosure.

Presentaz may refuse or pause processing where it reasonably believes a Job violates this Policy or creates material legal, safety or provider risk. Enforcement considers context, severity, intent and repetition; you may request review of an enforcement decision via support.

Copyright and Rights-Holder Policy

A copyright owner or authorised agent may send a written notice to copyright@presentaz.com containing: a physical or electronic signature of the authorised complainant; identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; identification and location of the allegedly infringing material sufficient for Presentaz to find it; the complainant's name, address, telephone number and email; a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorised by the owner, agent or law; and a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and the complainant is authorised to act.

Presentaz may remove or disable access to material after receiving a valid notice and will take reasonable steps to notify the affected user. An affected user may submit a counter-notice identifying the removed material and its former location, consenting to the legally required jurisdiction, accepting service of process from the complainant, and stating under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, together with the user's signature and contact details. Presentaz may restore material within the statutory period after forwarding a valid counter-notice unless the original complainant notifies Presentaz of a filed court action. Presentaz may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Trademark, privacy, publicity, voice or confidentiality complaints should identify the right, claimant, challenged material and requested action, sent to legal@presentaz.com.
